Our showroom is the largest in the area allowing us to display many styles and colours of floors in vignettes on the floor so you can literally get a feel of what you are looking for.

Here is a brief history of how Sidney Inn Carpet One Floor and Home was created and grew throughout the years to become part of North America's largest flooring retailer, with over 1000 stores nation wide.

1972 - Sidney Inn Carpet was established by Al Whitney & Don Douglas with only three staff.

1973 – Sidney Inn Carpet moved to a larger location on Pinnacle St. where the current Belleville Transit depot is located.

1978 – Sidney Inn Carpet moved again, this time to West Moira St. where the current Sidney Inn Variety is located increasing the store to 3000 square feet and adding three more staff.

1986 - Sidney Inn Carpet was purchased by Greg Johnson.

1996 – Sidney Inn Carpet moved to its current location on Coleman St. The showroom is now 28000 square feet, we have fourteen sales and administration staff and seven dedicated installation crews.

2000 - Sidney Inn Carpet was purchased by Dave McMillian. At this time we joined CarpetOne, the largest flooring co-op in North America.
